The inserts worked well enough, although with some shift in the box. Docked two stars because of construction quality - among the two inserts I bought there were about 7 or so panels that weren't glued properly (either one of the sides wasn't glued and was hence "wobbly", or was glued at a strange angle making it jut out), so I had to re-glue them myself. Two of the foam panels were also dented/compressed quite badly.
