Things have definitely been keeping us busy at Insert Here! Our oldest graduated high school. One down, seven to go! However, that said, things have not slowed down in shop! We've been able to slowly increase our delivery time and it's getting better with each passing day. So let's get on to some fun and exciting news, along with some new product announcements!
Review from Chaz Marler w/Pair of Dice Paradise
Chaz Marler, owner of Pair of Dice Paradise, reivewer at The Dice Tower, and media guy at Passport Game Studios (phew) recently reviewed one of my inserts, namely - Fields of Arle. I'm a huge fan of Chaz's and all he does for the board gaming industry. I'm also very grateful for the time he spent in making the video.
New Logo
As with all things at Insert Here, I am always looking to try to improve processes, products, and prices. After hiring about three different people, I finally found someone who put together a logo for me that I'm very satisfied with. If in need of a logo yourself, feel free to reach out to Stacie Grobolshek at staciegroby@gmail.com. She's very reasonably priced and extremely easy to get along with. (Thanks Stacie!)
New Products
CV (Holds Gossip Expansion)
This insert is composed of a main tray that holds the various "life-stage" cards while containing another removable tray for tokens and dice to store beside the game board. This insert will contain the base game and the Gossip expansion and is designed to hold premium sleeved cards. You can view more pictures here.
Village
This insert is composed of (9) removable trays and is designed to hold both the Stronghold Games and TMG versions of the base game and The Inn plus The Port expansions. It will also hold cards sleeved in premium FFG sleeves. This one's a very tight fit and is designed to hold many of the board components (along with the cloth bags; one holding the plague cubes and the other holding the monks) in the lower tray. I have pictured a sugested setup on how to get all of that to fit into the bottom tray. Once that is complete, all the other trays easily fit into their reserved places. It comes with (5) trays to hold individual player pieces for easy distribution to players at the beginning of the game. (1) tray holds the cards while the remaining trays hold the remaining tokens and cubes. This is a very tight fit and although the lid closes 100% on my version, variation in foam board thickness *may* cause your lid to leave a very small gap at the bottom. You can view more pictures here.
Commissioned
This insert is composed of (5) separate trays that fit within the box. It is also designed to hold premium FFG sleeved cards. Trays are designed to help with easy placement of often-used bits by the board (ie the 4 stacks of Faith cards and the tray for the cubes and tiles). You can view more pictures here.
Scoville (Revised to hold Labs)
This newly-revised insert contains both the base game and Labs expansion. It also holds the smaller "recipe" and "auction" cards in premium sleeves. (NOTE: I could not find sleeves for the "market" cards but left some room just in case they are to be found - I cannot guarantee they would fit sleeved, but should). It is composed of (4) removable trays. (2) trays hold the peppers while (1) holds the "recipe" and "auction" cards and various other start-up bits. The last tray can easily be stored by the board for quick access to commonly used bits (ie coins). This storage solution is a tight fit due to all the components. The lid will close entirely however foam core thickness could cause a very small gap. With boards and manuals stored on top, there should be little to no component movement outside of designated compartments. To view more pictures you can click here.
